Xiaomi's Android One Program Is Dead! No More Mi A series??

Xiaomi Mi A4 will not be released as it dumps Android One program

After much speculation, Xiaomi has axed Android One Program which means there will be no Mi A4 this time. This comes as a bad news for Stock Android lovers as another company leaves behind Android One. Aggressive pricing,Good specs made Mi A series popular and anyone looking for Vanilla Android looked towards Xiaomi A series.

Xiaomi who rode on immense success and popularity with their first phone in Android One lineup i.e. Mi A1  never really carried on the popularity with their successors Mi A2 and Mi A3.

Mi A3 users were troubled as initial updates of Android 10 were buggy and caused excessive battery drains, camera lag ,UI lag,Performance issues and this led Xiaomi to pull back Android 10 update 3 times and the update got late.

According To a report by Smartdroid,Xiaomi has finally abandoned the Android One Program, which means Mi A4 is not coming. Xiaomi and Motorola finds Android One Program to be Redundant .The objective of Android One program by Google was to deliver speedy stock android updates to Phones, but recent developments enables OEM's can do it themselves.

However there is not enough evidence as there is no official confirmation from Xiaomi. This post were shared on Mi Forums by moderator which has been taken down.Any update regarding this will be provided.

But it will not be surprising since Xiaomi is heavily pushing MIUI and does not need another series of Phones for it's purpose. However Mi A series will be missed by fans .It leaves HMD as the only major maker to run the Android One Program in Nokia.
